STYLEMATIC - DISCOVER YOUR STYLE

Good Morning! I hope you guys enjoy the weekend and fabulous spring weather. I can't wait for my favourite bloggers to post some inspiring outfits celebrating the long awaited summer. Do you remember the industry before social media took over? I obviously still buy magazines and watch all the fashion shows, but I feel like certain apps made fashion more diverse, accessible and exciting. People started to photograph their bags and heels, they nicely arrange jewellery on a table, take pictures of shop windows and post selfies and outfit of the day snaps. It's amazing! I love to check out new labels, pieces and looks. Fashion makes the daily routine more colourful. One of my favourite editors Evelina Khromtchenko said that by choosing ordinary clothes you choose an ordinary life ("Выбирая обычную одежду, вы выбираете обычную жизнь"). Discover your style girls, take pictures, stay well informed, take a look around. There's this new app called STYLEMATIC which got me a little hooked. It's so much fun! ;) You can add items, select pieces and create your own collages to share and inspire others. You can build a digital closet, while the app gives you fashion recommendations daily. I love this concept, it's so interactive and a great way to develop a better eye for fashion. I used to make collages all the time! It's obviously very practical to make them on the phone. STYLEMATIC is a great community where you can invite your friends and ask for their opinions and suggestions on your latest looks. The recommendation feed is perfectly adjusted to your taste and the things you post and like, the featured items are linked directly to the shops where you can buy them.

PRE EASTER MÜNCHEN

Good morning, spring is in town! We can finally put on some sunglasses, ballerinas and our favourite trench coats. The cafes open their terraces and bake traditional Easter pastries. I can't wait for more sunshine and green trees. It's time to make plans for the hot season and rewatch our favourite summer themed series episodes and movies. Whenever a new semester starts I feel in the mood for Gossip Girl and Blair's luxurious accessories and legendary back-to-school chic. This summer will definitely be amazing. Here are some pictures from the Bavarian capital, can you feel the sunshine? Munich is so beautiful in summer! SICILIA SPAGNOLA & MANOLETE

The most breathtaking ad campaigns, the most beautiful models, the most stunning dresses, the most charming Italian tribute, the most talented designer duo - DOLCE & GABBANA! Their clothes are absolutely incredible. A couple of years ago the label went for a risky yet worthy image makeover. They launched the industry's most gorgeous Haute Couture line Alta Moda and became the epitome of luxurious and feminine Italian glamour. It's amazing how they manage to outdo themselves with every single collection. Summer 2015 is dedicated to the magic of toreador costumes, Madrilenian charm and the compelling Spanish allure.

Monochrome polka dot, red roses, elaborate gold embellishments and the most artistic presentation - An unbelievable line titled Sicilia Spagnola. I love how they take us to another world. The amount of effort Dolce and Gabbana put in their collections and campaigns is unsurpassable. And can we please take a moment to appreciate the beauty of every single model, move and emotion? Bellissimo!

I can't help but think of one of my favourite movies staring Adrien Brody and Penélope Cruz. Have you guys seen Manolete - A Matador's Mistress? The heartbreaking story of the eponymous bullfighter and the woman of his life - A love hotter than a Spanish summer portrayed by the most influential Latina beauty of the decade and a man so perfect only a Dolce & Gabbana suit could do him justice. It made me realise once again that Adrien is the most flawless and talented actor in the world. And Penélope... well she's a goddess! She's so gorgeous, her unique beauty is hypnotic. I wonder whether Stefano and Domenico saw the movie...

It's a masterpiece, one of the most touching films of all time! The story is very tragic but the many beautiful and passionate moments manage to slightly make up for that. Choosing Brody and Cruz was a brilliant decision. I could literally watch them for hours. Adrien is like a powerful painting, it's impossible to take your eyes off him. I've rarely seen a love this epic and costumes this good, only Adrien and Penélope could have created such fire. As a character said "women make you love life" and their romance truly became legendary...

Spain is such an interesting and inspiring country full of life and diversity. It's important to get to know different cultures and celebrate folkloric elements in clothing. Thank you Stefano and Domenico for adding a lot more art to the commercial fashion circus. Your talent is a great gift and Italy's precious treasure. Amo Dolce e Gabbana per sempre! ;)

ZOOLANDER 2 - RISE OF VALENTINO

Yes this is real, it happened! Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller joined the world's most gorgeous models on the Valentino catwalk. The legendary duo managed to outshine Kimye, Lady Gaga and even today's breathtaking Chanel show! They are officially the stars of this season's Parisian fashion week. Magnifique!
This stunt reminded me of the many shocking appearances of Sacha Baron Cohen. It was brilliant and definitely the least thing people expected! Derek "Blue Steel" Zoolander taught them girls how to work that runway while Hansel looked incredible in baby blue cashmere. Or how Valentino put it: "Derek wears a custom Night Butterflies brocade suit with hand-embroidered overcoat and black Creeper shoes. Hansel wears a Silk Continent print Pajama suit with Double Cashmere overcoat and Open sneakers." Amazing outfits, epic guys, sensational show! They truly are really really ridiculously good looking. Here's how they met Anna Wintour...

The hashtag #Zoolander2 revealed that this was a genius marketing ploy to promote the long awaited sequel. Will Zoolander 2 gross more than 50 Shades of Grey? Let's make it happen! FEB 2016 ;)

Why did you start blogging?  I always knew that I wanted to become a journalist. My blog is kind of a sketch and a great way to practice writing and editing. I love to write and photograph, fashion is the essence of my life. Blogging is a great platform for people who are interested in unique clothes, art and the lifestyle in other cities. I feature everything that inspires me and I hope that it can brighten up someone else's day. ;)
Do you have any pets?  No pets
What's your favourite make-up step? 
Concealer and blush - Diorskin Nude Concealer and the Artdeco Blusher (Nr. 10 or 25)
What's in your purse / bag right now?  Phone, wallet, Dior Addict lipstick, notebook and a pen

Would you prefer living in a big city or in a small and calm village?  I live in Munich which is considered to be a rather big city. But to me it's still not big enough. I'd love to live in London one day, so the bigger the better. There are so many great cities with beautiful architecture, incredible locations and inspiring people. As many of you might know, I adore Paris! The French capital is magical. Paris is definitely my muse and all time favourite source of inspiration. ;)

Favourite food?  Italian and Japanese (and I have a guilty pleasure for chocolate!) There are many restaurant reviews on my blog, I love to check out new places with stylish interiors. ;)

Favourite jewelry piece?  Probably earrings - I never leave the house without earrings. I'm not that big on necklaces, I prefer a big statement ring or a chunky watch.
Where do you find your inspiration for blog posts?  Designers, Munich, friends, movies, TV shows, celebrities, instagram and music
If you could change anything in your life, what would it be?  My impatience! Also I need motivation to get things done. You know, I just need to get up and start to make things happen! ;) Like now!
What makes you happy?  My family, love, success, my studies (seriously, I love to go to university, I'm kind of a nerd), other people's happiness, beauty, fashion, sunshine, accomplishments and summer... ;)
What's your absolute favourite smell?  Right now, I'm obsessed with Flash by Jimmy Choo. However, my favourite night time fragrance will will always be Coco Noir by Chanel.
