SPRING FAVOURITES

It's officially spring. The birds sing, the flowers spread their wonderful scent and the sun shines bright. The winter depression is all gone. It's time to focus on this year's spring trends "Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking." Remember this quote? It's the one and only devilish Miranda Priestly.

Fashion:
What is actually new? The shoes! Loafers, pointed slingbacks, Birkenstock and classic avant-gardism - Shoes we haven't seen since 1994. Cher Horowitz used to rock them to school, now they are all over Paris Fashion Week. The pointed 'low heel' was introduced by Valentino with the Kitten-Heels a couple of seasons ago. Now Isabel Marant, TOD's and Fendi feature pointed flats in their current collections, while Dolce & Gabbana perfectly re-created the elegant trend with a heel, adding Sicilian sexiness.

I will wear my flats by Sergio Rossi with a black faux leather mini and a boyish baby blue shirt à la Alexa Chung. All I need is a little more sun and a flawless tan. Oh summer, I just can't wait for you any longer! ;)

Beauty:
Give your face a healthy beautiful glow. During summer I usually only wear mascara, blush and a sparkly gloss. My current favourite is the Artdeco apricot blush (Nr. 10). The colour is so perfect with a little bit of shimmer. The ocean blue turquoise eyeshadow (Nr.23) is so 'Cote d'Azur'.

Music:
Songs from the 90's are all over my summer playlist: Old school hip hop and club music, De La Soul & Gorillaz. Do you feel the vibe? Daft Punk, Le Baron and beach parties - Summer is a gift.

What is special about this week's Friday? It's the day of the lovers and loved ones: Valentine's Day! Nonsense! Love is supposed to be celebrated on a daily basis. ;) But maybe some of us could actually use a little reminder of the l-word. In times of reckless politics and global challenges, we tend to forget the most important thing. It's love that makes the world go round. So use the occasion and make someone special happy. According to Karl Lagerfeld, happiness results in a brand new K Lagerfeld bag. ;) Here is my V Day fashion special, with last-minute gift suggestions for the gentlemen out there. Beauty:

I'm currently testing some of the new Artdeco products. The concept of a paint pot got me years ago when Bobbi Brown launched the well known handbag must-have. Artdeco's Cream Rouge for Cheeks & Lips is available in 6 different colours. They are so unbelievably moisturising and soft. The texture is perfect. I have to admit that the BB version is a little harder to apply. I would highly recommend to use a balm base for both paint pots in order to get a flawless finish. Another product I love is the Shimmer Cream. It comes in two shades. The texture is very light. This is definitely my favourite highlighter (for the eye/ eyebrow region) at the moment. The Artdeco limited edition eyeshadow box is perfect for the handbag and so beautifully designed... Dubai feeling! ;)
Fashion:

Those stunning earrings are the perfect accessory for a warm spring night. They are so sparkly and gorgeous and I'm loving this shade of blue! Such a wonderful Christmas gift, thank you Dear !)) The bracelets are the ultimate spring jewellery trend 2014: Gunmetal and black pearls! ;)
Men:
I'll make this quick: Tinie Tempah & Scott Disick ('Kanye taught me?!') are my Men of Style 01.14! They can be classy in Burberry and swaggy in Balmain. Tinie Tempah's style is insanely good. We all know the pieces, but he makes them look super unique and puts his looks together like a boss. #King Perfection, Bow Down! ;)
Food:

Slowly welcoming the spring fruit season... ;)

Music:

I'm still obsessed with the BEYONCE album and some club sounds like Wankelmut and Bondax.
