DOLCE & GABBANA

Dolce&Gabbana and Russian fashionistas are bound together like Rome and the The Spanish Steps. I remember how D&G was a major statement in Russia back in the 90s. Western European high fashion was available and excessive. My Mum and I used to spot tourists from Eastern Europe in 1997 asking for the shop where they sell "D G" clothing. It was love from  first sight. Stefano and Domenico reinvent themselves every season again. Dolce was sporty, chic, glamorous, wild, sweet and untamed but most importantly it was always very Italian. La donna, la dea is a woman with inherent sexiness, eyes like fire, a flawless body and a smile which makes makes the sun rise. To me Dolce is the ultimate Italian Nr. 1! Hands down! And as hard as I try, I can't possibly find the right words to describe the changes at maison Dolce and Gabbana in the last couple of years: Runway shows that make my eyes water! Breathtaking beauty! Salvador Dali once said that perfection is unreachable. The latest collections would have definitely changed his mind! The embodiment of Italian culture manifested in stunning luxury. Those ad campaigns telling stories from a cozy village in the south of Italy where a beautiful girl plays with the kids next to the sea. Every single person in the creative department of Dolce&Gabbana deserves a crown!
THANK YOU GUYS for this incredible contribution to the haute couture stage, thank you for those fashion shows, for the Alta Moda project and for the incredible art you create. Evviva La Moda! I also think that the fine choice of models is an important part of the label's success. I mean how can anything ever be hotter than Tony Ward and Noah Mills in one ad campaign? Who is more gorgeous than Monica Bellucci, Bianca Balti, Kate King or Bianca Brandolini D'Adda? Beauty is... beautiful! ;)
Lay back & enjoy! ;)
