Can you guys believe it? Another year is over! Well it pretty much is. For me it was definitely the most life changing one, a year I will always keep in mind for the rest of my life! ;) Best part? As usual the summer! Breathtaking.
I love the last days of the December: You kind of do so much thinking and come to your new year's resolutions. What are yours? I honestly don't really have that many... Just one thing... it's the same thing every year... Living every day to its fullest! ;) I wish you guys an amazing 31 December and an even greater 1 January. And may this year... make all your wishes come true! ;)
My last post this year? Fashion Favourites 2012!
I never wore sooo much black like this year. Never so much leather and so sick boots. The Kanye influence definitely showed up! ;) I'm definitely taking this "all black perfection" trend of mine, on my adventures in 2013. Black never goes out of fashion and so does simple feminine chic, add your essence of ghetto, grunge, glam and be your fabulous self girls. ;)
Oh and the last thing: THE shoe from 2012 will accompany us in the next year! The pointed metal toe heel a la Louis Vuitton, Gianvito Rossi & Prada etc... I love them, so sophisticated! Best look? Leather pants like Poppy Delevigne or a stunning dress like Camilla Belle... my favorite is the all black look Gwyneth Paltrow showed us! ;) If you don't feel like spending all of your Christmas money on the 800 euro LV Version, go for Zara! They have the it-heel on Christmas Sale. ;)
Super American, hot L.A. day, video games, pool parties and funky shopping trips ... that's what comes to my mind when I go through the collection of Lord&Lady Baltimore. The pieces are very extraordinary and by purchasing a shirt you feel like it's something super unique and individual. Towards the end of winter, we girls start to think about our summer wardrobe, right? ;) (OK I see it's December, but whatever ;)) I can totally imagine to style the shirts up sexily with ripped denim shorts, a boyish blazer and heels and down with cool shades and some leather leggings and loafers. I am in love with this idea and the Baltimore line!)) Guys, it's so worth to check it out!! Baltimore... what do you guys know about Baltimore, and why is that the name of street chic king Christian Audigier's new line? Well, it is a place where American history and poetry finds its milestone. Lord Baltimore George Calvert is known for seeking religious freedom and peace in the time of colonial rule in America. The spirit of art in Baltimore, Maryland was brought up by Edgar Allan Poe who spent many years of his life in the famous seaport city. Christian Audigier makes a link between the American dream and his American Dream, and with this line he strengthens our believe in it.
Shirts, caps, sneakers, bags, iPhone cases... the choice of products is super diversified and the quality speaks for itself. Lord Christian "Audigier-Baltimore" brings a royal touch in the hip street style of this century's It-girls&boys- So check it out and get inspired! ;)

Christmas is all around me... Oh I love how beautiful Munich is during the festive season! So traditional, chic and simply christmasy! ;) I love it when people make the effort to decorate the city in order to make everybody feel happy and content. What do you guys like to do in December? Shopping, chilling at home with our bro Kevin or hanging out in the city enjoying hot chocolate?))
I love it all! And yes New York IS the Nr. 1 metropolis in terms of Christmas Decoration (and basically everything else ;)), but I'd like to give you guys an idea of what Munich has to offer. Hope you guys like it & may you all feel the spirit of Christmas!! Love&Health&Happiness to all of you and may you have a great Christmas! ;)
So many looks we stole, so many hours we spent in cafes discussing the plot like it was a part of our life... so many joyful moments in front of the TV- 5 years of Gossip Girl! I remember exactly what I thought after the first episode. I was like "Seriously? AfterO.C. and Sex and the City, do you guys really think that this will last?" I ended up watching every episode at least 10 times and I spent hours on thefashionspot.com in order to check out the show's looks. Gossip Girl turned out to be the obsession of the decade! We got hooked. What is the secret ingredient of a hit show like this one? Boys & couture! There is no way to imagine the show without the glow of a Lady Dioror the shine of Nate Archibald's smile. How often did you say "All I want for Christmas is Chuck Bass"? You know it! ;) This show taught us how to channel our inner queen B or rockstar Jenny Humphrey. How many designers were introduced to the commercial market by Eric Daman? The genius behind the signature Gossip Girl style enriched my knowledge of fashion and took it to the next level. Andrew Gn, Jenny Packham, the glorious beauty of Marchesa Couture... that is all Gossip Girl. So for the sake of the end of an era... Here are my favourite looks: Epic! 1. Blair Waldorf:
I have to start with Queen B. To be honest I loved her right from the start. Yes, she was a manipulative b**** from time to time but she was also a great friend and unbeaten fashionista. Blair Waldorf is a masterpiece. I had no clue how to rock her wardrobe in the village called Munich. But the art of being "Queen B" is not only an Upper East Side myth. You can do it too. I remember reading about girls going crazy at Falke and Wolford in order to pimp their school uniforms with some luxurious colourful stockings and chic headbands. Guess who set the trend?
My beloved Blair... What were her most unforgettable fashion moments according to moi?
1. One dress I couldn't forget was... black... silk... ballet... showdown... breathtaking... Valentino! Imagine Cannes, Vincent Cassel, a bottle of Dom... and you - looking like Tchaikovsky's black swan. Blair accessorized it with Chuck and some sparkly Harry Winston. Perfection! A dress so dark and dramatic that only drama queen Blair could pull it off with such grace.
Season 1, B's Bday, episode 8:
2. I remember sitting in a chic restaurant during a hot summer day when I saw the first stills from Gossip Girl's fourth season: In PARIS! Can you believe my excitement being the greatest Parisian fanatic? ;) When I saw Blair looking sweeter than a Laduree macaron in this Moschino I knew exactly how to dress for my next holiday in the French capital.
Season 4, Paris adventures, episode 1:
3. Every fashion victim knows that a New York fashionista wears Marc by Marc. I know this look is very "unspectacular" for the Waldorf fashion circus but I think that Giorgio Armani was absolutely right when he claimed that a woman in all white is the ultimate embodiment of luxury. A look we will never forget: All white @ The annual Hamptons White Party. Thank you Marc Jacobs.
Season 2, hello Hamptons, episode 1:
Serena Van Der Woodsen:
I love Serena's style! I love one particular thing about it- The touch of 'too much'. Her skirts tend to be a little too short and her blond magnificent hair a little too bouncy: Super vamp Serena is the hottest girl in NYC. Every dude goes "OMG" when this gorgeous blond enters a room and every girl goes "OTB" (Oh that B****). I adore S and I always will, she has the ultimate killer closet, drop-dead Louboutins and the most beautiful love story with Lonely Boy (not so lonely anymore) Dan Humphrey.
1. The gold Pamela Dennis dress is a sensation in the history of TV fashion. It is so royal and baroque and yet so young and modern. It's perfect for Serena. The golden girl, princess in the gilded cage, the queen S... in a breathtaking gown only she could rock like this.
Season 1, S&D lovestory, episode 10:
2. You have to be the genius Ralph Lauren to combine something so soft and girly like a pastel yellow flower print with black statement details. When I first saw this dress I was like "Hold on it's either horrible or absolutely stunning, but I don't know it yet". Now I know: It's absolutely incredible, it's a dress like a Dali: It requires a moment of proper consideration...
Season 1, wedding, episode 18:
3. This dress... it made me cry. Or maybe it was it the scene? Anyway, it's brilliant! I have nothing more to say: Serena in Georges Chakra Wedding Couture marrying the love of her life. Dear George, no more Lanvin - I think I want to get married in a GC! ;)
Season 6, bye bye xoxo, episode 10:
Jenny Humphrey:
"Oh I don't like J, she's so annoying." You can love or hate that chick! But it's still an obsession. I love Little J. I mean , she's been through a lot. And most importantly: The CRAZIEST style evolution ever. The sweet talented 14 year old designer became the kind of girl who sits on Marilyn Manson's lap in his tour bus. There were certain looks she pulled off... which were to-die-for amazing! And as I love the lucky 7... I'd like to make this the "look to remember Nr.7"- Jenny in Andrew Gn.
This dress is the love of my... November 2009. A goddess in black! (Coat: Moschino)
Can you believe it's over? No more GG? Well we still have so many episodes to re-watch. ;)
My favourite moment is definitely the last scene of the final episode: Serena and Dan getting married! I love this house, seeing them all together one more time... oh and Georgina and Jack TOGETHER! PERFECT! You know what I loved the most: The song! They used the same track that was featured during the Sex and the City finale! We got the love! ;)
November. Can you believe it's November? I can't! I mean guys it feels like yesterday when I was chilling on the beach with a freshly squeezed juice and the august issue of Vogue Russia. You know these moments, when you're far away from home and everything feels so easy and you're absolutely carefree. I used that time to think about my future, university, career, dating... you know... stuff girls think about. ;) 3 months later, and I'm still not wiser. lol
So let's start... topics of this month:
1. Instagram: Ok, ok!! I'm loving Instagram. It's AWESOME! It's easy, creative, fun... and well check it out! ;) (Insta name: maisondemaria)
2. Xmas:...And now one more month... THAN CHRISTMAS! I'm such a Christmas fool, I adore it! I'm like buddy the Christmas elf. ;) This year it seems like I'm about to be a part of a huge Christmas party with my girls. You know, big Christmas tree, we all wear D&G A/ W 2010 kind of like Scandinavian chic sweaters (btw: No more D&G?! Post on that!), get wasted on punch till we can actually see Santa and his reindeers and exchange presents while it's snowing outside. "Oh dear" ... I know. ;) I'm sure it's gonna be a lot of fun. What are you planning?
3.Maison Martin Margiela for H&M:
Of course, there'll be a big post this Thursday! ;) The collection's a little... well... weird.))) But somehow I'm still super duper excited and I already found my Nr. Uno pieces... LOVE the silver dress and leggings!)) ...so stay updated. ;)
So from now on, I'll try to be much more active on my page, and I wish you guys a great week!
Check out a HUGE post about Christian Audigier's masterpiece Lord&Lady Baltimore tomorrow! ;)
xx
M
Christian Audigier. A name so strong, so seductive and so legendary in the history of fashion, that it's impossible not to dedicate a post to him. The man with the french charm, the Don Corleone voice and the American Dream story is the one I'd like to introduce the "Inspiration Series" of my blog with. If there's anything I believe in most, than it's the human being's ability to achieve everything possible. In the history of the world there were so many who used this endless power of our nature for all kinds of destructive aims. That's why it is so important to upheave the ones who who use it for good, for great inspiring achievements. Once Tom Ford said: "Both film and fashion are businesses where the audience doesn't feel or see the work that goes on behind the scenes." The sensational business concept of Christian Audigier's work, is so genius... He realised that fashion is majorly one thing: Life! We wear Gucci to feel sexy, YSL to feel strong and Valentino to feel feminine. Fun, Party, Success, Fame and a life without limits- That's the Ed Hardy vision. ;)
The Ed Hardy phenomenon started a couple of years ago, I remember getting shirts and sneakers ordered through my relatives from New York. In Munich we had a store called "Grace" where my Mum used to indulge myself with the CA creations. I was so in love with the brand and I can still say: This success is unrepeated and irreplaceable. The store I'm in now, is known for being ahead of time with their brands: They sold Ed Hardy first in Munich. Next to Cavalli and Moschino, Ed Hardy was the ultimate it brand in the boutique. Whether those were Russians or Arabian Emirates billionaires, they shopped the American Dream Couture like they are about to go on Noah's ark. Audigier was in the right moment in the right place with the right business plan. If I would have to describe the secret hit essence of the concept I'd say: Association theory. The great LA Couture Don linked a certain life style represented by the most known party people in Hollywood to a certain product, in this case: The clothes. Being crazily tattooed all over the body was now possible with the help of the Ed Hardy shirt. When you wear Ed Hardy you feel like you're wearing swimwear underneath on a yacht around the world with Christian playing poker with Diddy and Madonna doing exercises on the helicopter runway. Clothing with a dream and a vision- Secret recipe of the story of success. A man who made it so far that only sky's the limit. ;)
As I'm studying economy and business now, I feel like it's very important, not only to study the university book material but also the master examples of life. The most unfair part of life, is that everything requires 100% passion and work, 'cause... YOLO... ;)... we only live once. So for those of you who have certain dreams, which is something we all have... don't stop. Try first, because people... You can make it all happen, and that is just what you should keep in mind day by day. ))) xx M
Gossip Girl. OMG! It's back. The first episode of season six aired yesterday. It was... thrilling. ;)
So many years passed but some thing are still the same: I love Chuck, I want Serena's closet and I want to know wtf this Gossip Girl chick is?! Believe it or not, we're about to find out! The biggest secret in the history of a six seasons show is about to be revealed. Any guesses? There was a time when I was 100% positive that it was Dan. I mean, he's cute and stuff but let's be honest, this dude has been stalking the hot blond for years before they teamed up and became the most inspiring it-couple on the Upper East Side. No just kidding, it was very charming how he fancied her from far, right? But who is it? Georgina? No. Bart Bass? No. Or maybe... NOOO! LOL I have no idea. But one thing is for sure: It has to be someone IN the clique. Not some strange randon girl, like this new chick Nate is about to have quality time with in the next episode. We'll find out! ;)
Let's talk fashion! Favourite outfit? Serena's pseudo-bridesmaid dress! When I saw it first, I was like this has to be Jenny Packham. High five Maria! This show taught me a lot, it's JP Spring 2012 Collection . ;)
A perfect Serena gown! So apparently S is considering a fresh start (while I'm considering a french start)) with this hot beau. We can't wait to see where it goes! Oh, Blair and Chuck?! The storyline is slowly starting to annoy me! Get together! Get married! We want Blair in Ralph Simmons Dior and Chuck in Tom Ford! ;)
But I'm more than happy to have my Tuesday mornings back: GG, french breakfast and blogging. ;)
You know you love me guys, have a great day)))
xoxo
Gossip Girl (No it's just me ;))
yesterday at work, I had the most random "Russian" moment ever. A man walks in our store... he's around 70, with a "Rick Ross" like body and a cane))... a gold watch... and a ring... so unbelievably flashy, that it looked like a piece of the Versailles. It was an emerald of the size of a 2 cent coin surrounded by many 1 carat diamonds. Obviously it was more than hard for me to stop staring at it. Soon I realised that the man didn't understand any German. From this moment on it was clear to me, this is a Russki. ;) So we started picking an all silk Cavalli dress for his daughter.
This made me think of what gold and diamonds mean in the history of my country, for our mentality and our values. I spent yesterday night, going through books like "The treasure of the Romanovs", "Golden Russia" and "Petergof". It's obvious: Russians and Diamonds, are like Bonnie and Clyde, like Liz and R. Burton, like Beyonce and Jay Z... It's a very strong and deep love. ;)
Visiting home this summer, I was charmed of the beauty and extravagance of the jewellery the Russian high society has to offer. Besides old money classics like Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels, new designers become more and more of a topic. The label "Gaydamak" catched my eye immediately. The label was established in 2009 by the sisters Katia and Sonia Gaydamak.
First, the designer: Katia Gaydamak is doubtless one of the most gorgeous women in the Moscow It-Clique. She's incredibly tasteful, beautiful and stunning... and so is the jewellery. She does the designing part. The first thought in my head when I saw the pieces: This is could be the jewellery of a Sheikh's daughter, a Russian aristocrat or of a 21st century It-Girl with a touch of erstwhile elegance.
The super educated and charming Beauty Sonia is responsible for the developing process of house Gaydamak. She makes the brand an international guideline for every young jewellery label. They go worldwide, strong and visionary.
All in all, a real sensation! The pieces are already rocked by the globe's hottest it girls and loved by my ultimate Russian fashionista Miroslava Duma. The most extraordinary piece? The hand bracelet. An ultimate it piece, jewellery is a fashionista's best friend, right? ;)
Launch: http://www.tatler.ru/tatlertv/181455_yuvelirnie_priznaniya_stolichnih_it_girls.php
Lindsay Lohan and Alicia Keys wearing the it-piece... DIAMOND LOVE))).
As I am very interested in the label, I contacted Katia Gaydamak and I was lucky enough to get a Q&A with her, a little but amazing interview on her inspiration, favourites and work.
Enjoy guys, the Q&A with the lovely Katia Gaydamak:
-What is your biggest inspiration? "we love strong personalities, unusual faces and looks. the street of London or the west village in NYC. My sister and I find inspiration in architecture and tapestry mostly."
- Favourite Jewellery House of all times? "we love JAR for it s unique statement pieces and daring choices of stones and shapes. We also love the more ancient (1930s) Cartier collection. Especially those made for the Maharadjas."
-"Icon in Diamonds"- The most gorgeous diamond loving woman in world's history? "Elisabeth Taylor is one of our icons because she made it clear that love and jewellery are the best couple ;-))). but jokes put aside, our mother has always worn the most insane jewellery with classic clothes. it s all a question of mood and self esteem but jeans and shirt and a cool jacket is the base to wear ANY type of extravagant jewellery"
It was time again: A new sensational collaboration @ H&M. The super hip, super extravagant and super crazy fashion it-persona Anna Dello Russo, Editor for Vogue Japan, created an exclusive line of breathtaking accessories for H&M. Obviously I had no other choice... I had to go ahead and get myself some goodies. I've red all kind of collection reviews... they include everything from "awful and grotesque" to "must-have and iconic" To be honest I'm kind of in between, but these are the kind of pieces you'll keep forever, true art! Especially... the suitcase! I'm so obsessed with it. I've already seen Moscow socialites instagramming it earlier this week. (Yeah the Russians totally get it all first ;))
Keta Topuria (Moscow fashion icon, It girl and singer) with the stunning suitcase (via Instagram)
But this time... NO craziness. There were 5 guys who really wanted it, in front of the closed doors. They were super fashionable wearing Givenchy and Prada, Asian and they brought pretty much everything. The reason for that? I guess that this kind of fashion doesn't fit in the the classic "Longchamp-Speedy"-kind of couture in the city of Munich. Don't get me wrong, but this city knows more about Beer and Pretzel than Balenciaga and Pucci. ;)
Let's get back to the collection: What was stunning? The eye wear! I'm a bit of a Kanye West speaking of eye wear: I love it popping! The ADR glasses are to die for! BUT they are so heavy I could barely keep 'em on my nose. LOL))) Same thing with the jewellery... gorgeous looking, painfully uncomfortable. So what did Anna taught us in the advertisement clip? "Fashion is uncomfortable" Hell yes doll! Yours definitely is! ;) But whatever... she's right sometimes you just have to go through the pain.))
Here are the pieces I got. I decided to order the suitcase online, lol I can't wait to see the postman carrying it up going like "WTF is that?!"))))
Now, do you like the line? Is it so hot or so not?
I wish you an awesome weekend guys, enjoy, party and thrill!)))
xx
M
1. Our beloved genius Kanye West mentions his girl Kim in another bomb track. This time... we talk about Kimmy Ks past... JUICY ;) "My girl a superstar all from a home movie"
Alright Beau we got it!
2. Anna Dello Russo captures the TV screens with the new short movie for her long awaited H&M collection! Theses shoes are not just hot... they are the ultimate perfection of Italian heat and haute couture! Don't miss! And start to put some money back ladies... it's going to be a sensation. ;)
So what did she told us? Fashion is freedom, we need a fashion show... fashion is uncomfortable... you should wear everything only once... sounds quite true actually. I can already see this collection becoming the most worn line in the Moscow High Society. ;)
3. You know what I miss the most? The sun! Where the hell is it?) But on the other side... this kind of 50 shades of grey weather (btw, is the book good?!)) is perfect for this fall's most significant trend... LEATHER! Oh excuse me, it's BLACK LEATHER! Who taught us? Givenchy of course and it couldn't be better. ;)
Munich shows a London like weather today.;) I had some things to do, so I dressed up quickly listening to H.A.M and went out. My outfit is again... Kanye West inspired. I got a necklace with his initials. I believe it's a good thing to wear something that reminds you of someone who represents your dreams and hopes. To me it's West: Power, strength, work, soul, music, fashion and fun!)))
The rest? Check out!
Top: Zara
Leather Pants: ECEBE
Jacket: H&M

Welcome back dolls! I had the most amazing summer and spent the whole month in my home country: The Ukraine. The cherry on top, was my 2 week trip to Yalta.
The American East Coast has the Hamptons. A place where the rich&famous relax and party. It's a known fact that the Russian/ Ukrainian oligarchy captured the Cote d'Azur a couple of years ago. But there's still a group of patriots who remain loyal to the pearl of Crimea: Yalta.
My family is visiting the Hotel Yalta Intourist regularly. My grandparents spent their honeymoon there and my mum enjoyed some crazy clubbing tours with her girlfriends in the wild eighties.))
This hotel is like my second home. I know every corner and administrator. When I was younger, I used to make some hilarious nonsense with my team. ;) But know I prefer a more relaxing kind of trip including spa and sauna sessions, swimming in the pool, healthy food and a delicate social get-together in the evening.))
What else can I say about this place? Oh, yeah hold on: The hotel was bought by a group of Russian billionaires... rumor has it... Roman the Great Abramovich is a part of it. Oh la la! This explains the change in the crowd this year. Where ever you look you see the typical Moscow Beau: Big gold cross, Denis Simachev swim shorts and a heavy Ulysse Nardin on the wrist. Their ladies? They wear Celine and Hermes to the beach, sip champagne in the early morning and change their outfits in two hour gaps. ;) Very interesting to observe for a fashion insterested girl, who grew up in Western European manners. I finally saw the most extravagant Haute Couture pieces of this season live in action! Do you know how many Celine bags I've seen this year in Munich? ONE, seriously only one. I mean, come on!)) It's the bag of the year, this is the weirdest thing ever. In Yalta the Celine It bag 2012 catched my eye approximately five times a day. It's such a pleasure for a fashionista's soul. ;)
The boys try to to stand out as well by wearing print Galliano, floral D&G and colourful Simachev. A 24h fashion show! I love it!
So obviously you have to go with the flow. ;) Which means that stunning beach fashion is a MUST. Maybe even more important than the evening fashion? Kind of... ;)
So here's a little insight in my fashion Yalta-Lookbook 2012. And I'm already looking for hot pieces in order to thrill next summer! ;)
1. Bikini: H&M; Glasses: Dior; Scarf: from Milan
2. Bikini: H&M; Glasses H&M; Headscarf: Etro
3. Bikini: H&M))); Glasses H&M; Earrings: H&M
1. Top&Collar: Marni for H&M; Shorts: AA; Glasses: Valentino
2. Glasses& Earrings: H&M; Bikini: Matthew Williamson; Scarf: Escada Sport
Rain in Munich City! The perfect weather for packing the suitcase before I leave for lunch and Maelu sweets with my lovely friend Elena.
I already realise, that this will be huge problem, 'cause it doesn't matter how hard I try reducing my clothes, it's still too much. Now I understand the circumstances behind the pictures of Vic Beckham at the airport, checking in with like 25 suitcases. ;) I decided to take it slow, and start with the glasses I NEED. My mum is already shocked.)) "Why do you need multiple gold glasses and 2 blue ones?" I won't tell her that there are 4 more, which I'm hiding in my travel pillow. ;) I don't even want to start thinking of the amount of shoes I'll take with me...
Another thing I love doing in those kind of rainy mornings, is watching fashion shows. There's one month left for summer couture and then my favourite fashion season starts: Autumn! I adore autumn! I love the boots, the layering, the tourists in Munich during the Oktoberfest and all that jazz...
So going through the Chanel, Givenchy and McCartney shows, I realised that there are significant trends this fall, and that it's time to get prepared. I already have the feeling that this is the best fall ever! ;) 'Cause these trends are absolutely gorgeous!* 1. Leather:
Givenchy was rough, extreme, strong and super seductive. The Fall/ Winter 2012/13 show is all about the sexiest material in the fashion carousel: Leather. Kanye's beloved leather pants, leather boots, tops, dresses... all leather! Sure, it never really goes out of fashion, in no way, but this season the fixation on the use of leather is conspicuous.
Colours: Black, red, orange 2. Magenta:
The bonbon pink is passé. But the colour group of pink shades, brings a new variation of the colour in the game: Magenta. Magenta is like a very dark pink, not as bright as fuchsia but in the same time not as natural as burgundy (it-colour f/w 2010/2011). I'm so in love with it! Cavalli featured it in his Pre-Collection of Just Cavalli while Chanel and McCartney made it a signature shade of their main collections. This is the perfect alternative for the pastel and bonbon pink we loved so much this summer. So girls, don't miss it and get ready! ;) Btw: The colour looks phenomenal with a very dark shade of forest green, a classic Etro Tribute. ;) 3. Purple:
"Are you wearing purple?" This hilarious question was the start of the backstage interview with Karl Lagerfeld at the Chanel show. "Yes of course!" Karl replies. He's dressed in purple in order to match the colour of his icy crystal installation surrounding the runway. This show was so unlike Chanel. Definitely not the kind of couture we are used to, but still very likable. I kind of enjoyed it, the colour spectrum was very revolutionary for Chanel. Karl, I adore you, especially your brain, whatever is going on up there! Genius! ;) So here you go guys, purple and dark grey all over the Grand Palais. 4. Royal Blue:
Stella McCartney makes the colour a statement. Her signature cuts ans styles combined with a touch of royal chic, thanks to royal blue. 5. Enjoying the last summer month:
This is probably the most important trend: Use the sun to get the energy you will need in the cold season, go out, have fun and ENJOY! ;)
So girls, don't forget to include these trends in your late summer shopping, make them our own, stay in style, have a great week and... see you guys soon. ;)
xx M
So guys... it's time for a music post. Music is everything, isn't it? Discovering a new genius is always a super exciting thing, doesn't matter whether it's a new designer or an upcoming hip hop sensation. Lately there are many people around who thrill us with their banging mixtapes weekly and one of them is the unmistakable A$AP Rocky. What can we say about him? Born and raised in Harlem NYC, the young Rakim Mayers (ASAP) had to deal with family drama which is comparable to a Curtis James Jackson movie, and being named after a famous hip hop MC, there was only one way to go for him: Becoming a rap artist. He names the Wu-Tang Clan and Houston rap as his influences and pursues a performing career at a very young age. It's not that long ago, when Mayers joined the A$AP (Always Strive and Prosper) crew and became the Rocky. These people represent a new progressive and unique rap and fashion style. The hardest thing imaginable is to sound new, 'cause we've already been through everything in 2012. Still boys like ASAP Rocky, manage it to amaze us and strive against the stream. Listening to an unknown song, you can truly feel him in it, there's just something catching about him and that's not only my opinion, Drake's in love too. 2012 is the ASAP year, he's killing all the radio stations in NYC and is about to contest against Frank Ocean for the BBC Sound of 2012 award. Wassup?! ;) So boy, you're on the way to the prince crown and Kanye, watch your damn throne! ;) (Just kiddin', KW is the One)
Guys check out his mixtape LiveLoveA$AP! Don't miss it!)
So now the gentleman is introduced, let's go for the fashion. ASAP- As sophisticated as possible. That's how you could transcribe his name after checking out his wardrobe. It has a certain maturity, nothing to popping, a lot of black and a slight Marilyn Manson allure (this mystery and twisted touch, you know? ;) ) This boy knows how to bring back the camp hat and how to rock some black leather. The crosses, skulls and Funeral prints add something unusual to the regular rapper wardrobe. So here it is again: The A$AP-mystery. The other fashion influence is obviously the classic American look: Hoodie, army pants, college jacket, trucker shirt and backpacks. Just like his bro Theophilus (Big Spender), ASAP loves to go the vintage way. And they also both love themself some heavy gold. Do we love Rocky rockin'? Hell yes! Nothing makes a guy more attractive than talent and style. Iggy Azalea knows what I mean. The 21 year old bombshell is the hot gal next to the it-boy. And there's also so much to love and admire about her. She's bad *ss, super hot and so super talented! Check out the honey's mixtape guys, you won't regret it! For the final, it's time to go through his stuff... oh and just in case you see someone wearin' VSVP... you can be convinced that the ASAPMANIA is spreading around the world. ;) When Terry goes "thumbs up", there's definitely some serious stuff about to happen. In his wardrobe... Balmain fur coat; 3.1 Phillip Lim leather jacket (bomb black version only on the West ;)) ASAP's signature beanie shop @ SSUR (http://store.ssurempirestate.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1841) How I would dress him... Alexander McQueen sweatshirt; Maison Martin Margiela sneaker; Persol glasses
The reason for why the whole city is on insane fire today is not only the high temperature but also the hot flow brought by one of the most poppin' rap young stars in the world: TYGA! ;)Yesterday he performed in Munich and left a long lasting impression. This boy knows how to heat up the crowd. Super spontaneous and without any tickets, we decided to go and watch him rocking. After some hours of back and forth, we finally managed to get our hot dressed up behinds in. ;) Did I mentioned it was awesome? Sure I did, and hell yes it was! But as you guys now I'm very big on fashion and obviously I used this event in order to check up the Munich Hip Hop community. Well where shall I start... there were some backpack wearin' Wiz Khalifa fans, some hot blokes wearin' Munich's it-label Beastin with the right kind of Kanye flow (beastin.planet-sports.de; buy guys, it's good stuff)) and of course some all tattooed cool eye wear rocking Tyga boys. So all in all great fashion material. It felt like the whole city was there.
But the one million $ fashion-question of the night was... What will Tyga wear?
The world wide blogger community is hyping up vintage multi coloured silk shirts at the moment. Remember the great era of them? It was the Gianni Versace time. The printed shirt is like Versace's 2.55, their ultimate signature piece! Right no Rick Ross is popping them with some heavy gold while Drake makes an all vintage hip hop appearance like Dr. Blue. ;) And of course girls like Cassie and Queen B don't pass the trend.
And guess what Tyga picks for his Bavarian visit... the banging silk shirt on some perfectly fitting black jeans! BOMB! The Last Kings' classic LK snapback was a tribute to his clothing line.
By the way: I spotted a couple of fashionistos wearin' LK and VSPV!

Breaking fashion-news: New partner of the next H&MxDesigner collaboration announced: Anna Dello Russo, our favourite fashion editor (Vogue Japan) is about to design some gorgeous jewellery! Autumn 2012... we are so excited! ;) She's extravagant, sophisticated and more high fashion than anyone else to me. Her apartment screams haute couture. This woman makes her life a fairy tale, beautified by Valentino & Co. There's no way not to love her brave style and fabulous appearances. La Russo always steals the show hitting the red carpet and her collection will obviously be the ultimate sensation of this year's fall/ winter season!
Be ready for a BIG haul post tomorrow. Girl went shopping like it's cray! ;)
Dresses, shoes, bags, skirts... I love them all! But my biggest pleasure are accessories. I love how a bracelet can change the whole tone of an outfit. Hair up, classic women suit, long flashing dangling earrings= Sophisticated aristocratic charm. Hair down, classic women suit, big hip hop creoles= Lascivious party chic. I believe you can't have to many of them! Another sick obsession? Eye wear! ;) So expanding my accessories department every single week, I really need a nicely organized and cool designed storage system. (or a ASA- Anonymous Shopaholics Association membership ;) ) This post is supposed to quickly share some storage strategies of mine.)
My headbands are stored in these two Marc Jacobs cases, the elastic ones on the top, the others in the structured case below. I used to have a rack for them, but they started to disturb me being all out. The first case came along with the fragrance Daisy. The structured one was brought in Milan.
Keeping my jewellery organized is much harder. I organize it every day, because being in hurry in the morning I tend to put everything out of the boxes on my bed searching for the stuff I need. So basically it rather often looks like that: My creoles are supposed to hang on this leo lady which I got on a flea market in Paris. But they prefer to be all around the place. ;)
Another thing I love to do is keeping designer shopping bags, storing things in them and having things hanging on them. I feel like it always adds a slight designer touch. So I love to keep it that way. Another rule of mine: Colour organization. Here you can see an inside in a shelf of my big closet where I store some accessories.
The majority of my eye wear is stored in a commode. Here I also add some Haute Couture charm with fashionable post cards and advertisements. On the commode I use to place a high fashion magazine, some bracelets and my watch (in the green satin sack).
This is my mothers table: I love her little fox holding rings. It's log-built, from Moscow (early 60's). She teached me the "decorate with fashion post cards and magazines trick" as you can see. ;)
How do you guys store your stuff?)
