BALMAINxH&M: MY BALMAIN GAME

It's been over a week ever since the Balmain chaos took over social media. Have you guys seen the items on ebay? 2000 dollars for the dresses and 3000 for the leather jackets - I guess we made a little fortune there. ;) This was officially the most anticipated and well sold collaboration in the history of the Swedish high street giant. Some are still hunting for dresses on Instagram while others resell the exquisite pieces in order to make some extra Christmas money. I'm so glad that I woke up at 4AM, it was definitely worth it! ;) After long consideration I decided to keep everything I got. The sunglasses are probably my favourite piece! I was lucky enough to get my hands on two pairs, just in case. ;) I'm so surprised by the quality, there is literally no flaw! Obviously I had to check out the breathtaking gatsbyish jewellery. How gorgeous are the earrings?! Unfortunately I can't keep them on for more than an hour. They are as heavy as they look which is why I'm thinking about changing the clip or removing some of the crystals. We'll see... Also the rings turned out to be amazing! I went for the emerald, white crystal and gold one.
What about the handbags? Not a fan of the big green shopper, I feel like it's more of a Kris Jenner piece. But the silver clutch... took my breath away! The sales associate told me that there were only 5 clutches available in Munich. I'm one of the five! It's so stunning and glamorous - Fitzgerald chic at its finest!;) All in all the accessories get 8 out of 10 point for their incredible beauty and (almost) flawless quality.
Let's move on to clothing: I got the green embellished dress which makes me think about a lavish yacht party with Snoop and Marty Scorsese. It's breathtaking! Girls, you'll probably need some kind of magical bra or a lot of tape to keep this thing from slipping. I figured that the best way to wear it is backwards. The chunky zipper will help you regulate the amount of boobs you want to show. ;) Originally I was interested in the velvet dresses, but when I saw this emerald 80s beauty with the killer shoulder pads I just couldn't resist. LOVE!
I guess the biggest commercial favourite was the logo t-shirt. It's a Balmain classic after all. H&M came up with an amazing idea, changing the signature Balmain Paris logo to Balmain Moscow or Balmain Berlin etc. depending on the location of your H&M store. I wish there were Balmain Munich t-shirts but I guess Berlin will do. ;)
So how did you guys like the collection? Was it extremely epic or just worth a little look? Stay tuned for more posts on upcoming collaborations and the most exciting fashion news.. ;)
Have a great weekend

H&MxBALMAIN - STORE SITUATION

It's 11am... but I feel like it's friggin' midnight! November the 5th you know what it izzzz: BALMAIN for H&M is finally available in selected stores and online! I set my alarm for 5am and turned on my 'Go in and win' attitude. Young, old, locals, tourists, fashionistas, ballers, middleman, bystanders - There were hundreds of people! It was incredible. Last time I saw a crowd like that in front of H&M in the early morning was in 2009. Jimmy Choo for H&M was probably the most anticipated high street-designer collaboration ever, at least in Munich. I remember people screaming, fighting, jelling - It was absolutely hilarious. This time there was a huge group of very young girls and boys. Why you might ask? I don't think that they even knew what 'Balmain' was a year ago. They hardly looked forward to get their hands on clothes from one of the most iconic and prestigious French fashion houses in the history of time, right? The man responsible for such fame is obviously the one and only Olivier Rousteing.
Balmain for H&M available at H&M Weinstraße and H&M Kaufingerstraße München
He became the creative director of Balmain at the age of 24. He revolutionized the struggling brand and made it more contemporary than ever. Balmain symbolises 21st century royalty. Rappers, topmodels, athletes, reality TV goddesses and the world's best dressed millionaires are obsessed with Olivier's pieces. He's as epic as the brand itself. Balmain is back on top - officially. The H&M collaboration is exhibit A for brilliant marketing. Rousteing created a wave of hype using the most followed teenagers on Instagram. Gigi, Kendall, Kylie & co advertised the hell out of the collection! It was literally everywhere. At one point or another everybody came across the adds. Social media - Blessing or curse for the fashion industry? BLESSING! As long as you know how to use it in the right way... ;) Bow down! And thank you H&M! The collection is just breathtaking! ;)
Stay tuned for my haul/lookbook post! ;)

OCTOBER FAVOURITES: HIP HOP EDIT

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome! I know it's been a while, there was a lot going on. My October stated with the most outrageous and hilarious Oktoberfest weekend which turned into the wildest party marathon ever. It was Usher's Caught Up which gave me the most juicy throwback. I started to remember 2012 when we jumped during Tyga's concert in between the A-level finals. Why did we stop to go out like there was no tomorrow? We are young and adventurous, there's so much to see and even more to do. So we started to go clubbing 6 times a week again. Lil Wayne songs, lavish accessories and black wayfarers in class... Lol we're OGs again. This is literally my first 'calm' day in months. I have time to blog while listening to Hotline Bling - Amazing! Speaking of Drake's latest video, let's talk about October favourites... Here we go! ;)

Drizzy Drake
I know when that hotline bling, that can only mean one thing... You guys know that Drizzy is one of my favourites. I love his style, the beats, the epic lyrics, the modesty of his presence and obviously the countless TheFatJewish jokes based on either his moves or videos. Drake raised us, we are the Young Money generation. We were in The Zone expressing Crew Love, screaming just Hold On We're Going Home. We are aware of the fact that it's important to Know Yourself, be Legend and party Uptown... and obviously Take Care. Drizzy's latest masterpiece is a funky minimalistic music video for his hit single Hotline Bling. There's some passionate old school dancing going on, mixed with artistic visuals and a red Moncler. It's just so cool and modern, it's kind of weird... but in a good way.;) Drake broke the internet with his incomparable body skills! See for yourself... ;)
HMxBalmaination
Olivier Rousteing collaborated with H&M! The creative director of Balmain is not only the most hyped and followed designer on Instagram, he's also an incredible genius and the BFF of our dreams. We love his luxurious parties, beautiful friends, incredible outfits, flawless selfies and hilarious videos. He's the Drake of the fashion industry. Olivier is sensational! He managed to become the king of Parisian couture within a couple of years. His breathtaking designs gave Balmain the long awaited renaissance. Rousteing creates fashion for every generation (most importantly his own).
"I want to talk to my generation: this is my main aim as a designer. H&M allows me the unique possibility of bringing everyone into the world of Balmain get a piece of the dream and create a global #HMBalmaination: a movement of togetherness, fuelled on a hashtag. The collaboration felt extremely natural to me: H&M is a brand that everybody connects to. It calls for unity, and I am all for it" Olivier Rousteing
Now the collection is finally viral. Last night the fashion elite celebrated the pre-launch (the Backstreet Boys were there - How epic is that?!) The pieces are classic Rousteing: A lot of gold, heavy Hip Hop influence, lavish embellishments and just the right amount of sexiness. I can't wait! My number 1 piece is probably the super hot lyon leather jacket. It's just so ... Empire! ;) There will also be a wide range of jewellery and even a fragrance. Olivier even put the signature Balmain logo T in the collection. It will be sold out faster than the first Yeezy Boost! So hurry guys, the 5th of November is officially the most important shopping date of the season! ;)
Balmain for H&M was already seen on: Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Elena Perminova (here featured in Elle Russia), Lewis Hamilton, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Ellie Goulding, Zachary Quinto and many more - Join the Balmaination!

Empire
So now we had music and fashion - What's missing? A TV show! I'm sorry THE TV show. Hip Hop, incredible suits, Tom Ford, Gucci, Snoop Dogg, Timbaland and more - To the Empire! Terrence Howard is my ultimate crush at the moment. I mean seriously, how perfect is this guy?! The face, the smile, the body, the style... This is how a king is supposed to look like. Cookie (played by Taraji P. Henson) is my ultimate fashion inspiration. I'm wearing hoops again, layering gold like Birdman and buying dresses shorter than 2009 Hervé Léger. She's amazing! No wonder Carine Roitfeld featured her in the CR fashion book. This cast is fire, fire, legendary - a must-see for every hip hop loving fashionista! ;)
Every single song from the soundtrack is on my iPod, I know all the lyrics and I push it harder than Nicki when I listen to them. This show is a masterpiece! Timbaland is known for being one of the most influential music producers of all times. With his work for Empire he took it to another level. It's hard to believe that one man can never reach a limit. The music is unbelievable. Can't wait for more! Who's your favourite Lyon? Oh they are all everything.... ;) Here are some of my favourite Empire songs (And yes, Hakeem's the dream):
I hope you guys enjoy the upcoming weekend, stay tuned for more posts on the Balmain collaboration! ;)

HIGHER & HIGHER: MONTE CARLO!

My friends, they get me higher and higher... Remember how Blair and Chuck destroyed some silk sheets to the sound of this The Ting Tings song? ;) It was the last season premier, and where was it? In Monte Carlo! We all remember the legendary casino scene and this untamable feeling screaming 'I wish I was there!' (although it was technically shot at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City). Well this year I made it. ;)
The magical principality is famous for many things including its glamour, the billionaires, the yachting, being the Nr.1 European tax heaven and obviously the countless tales and stories surrounding the rich and famous. For those of you who never visited the world's second smallest sovereign state here's what's going on: It's super unspectacular (sorry dear Monégasques)! France and Italy have so much to offer, why would you visit this super crowded built up 'city'? That was my first thought... but then we drove to this tunnel above the Twiga club (epic place btw!) and went up stairs - And there it was, the most amazing place in the world: MONTE CARLO. Nobu, Buddha Bar, Hôtel de Paris, Valentino, Chanel... I didn't even know what to look at first! The sun was shining, it was so incredibly hot and magical and thinking back it still feels like a dream. Guys, you have to see this! It's everything. We had the best time ever and I finally got to act out my gambling addiction. Lol, at least a little bit. Here are some snaps from the trip, I can't wait to go back... in a long Dolce & Gabbana lace dress... obviously. ;)
Taken at: Musée Océanographique de Monaco, Palace Square, Twiga, Nobu, Buddha Bar, Casino Monte Carlo, Hotel de Paris
Good Night! Lots of love & sweet dreams
See you in Monaco ;)

CANNES WE STAY?

Welcome to St. Tropez! The legendary Timati song made my summer (the original Russian version is far more amazing btw). Nothing screams more Cote d'Azur than a Russian guy in a Philipp Plein leather jacket driving around in a white Ferrari. ;) We didn't go to St. Tropez but Cannes and Monaco turned out to be even better. For centuries aristocrats visited the French Riviera dedicating poems, songs and art works to its incomparable beauty and elegance. It is the most breathtaking place in the world, so epic and sensational!
Nothing in the world will make you feel more like Blair Waldorf than a round of blackjack at Casino Monte Carlo (followed by dinner at Nobu.) ;) Guys, it is so worth a visit! We traveled around the entire coast and experienced the most unforgettable vacation ever! But let's take one at a time... ;) Today I will share my favourite snaps from Cannes and tomorrow we will go for Monte Carlo.
Taken at: InterContinental Carlton, Martinez, Baoli Beach, Galerie Bartoux, La Croisette
CANNES: The film festival, the celebrities, the red carpet, the hotels, la Croisette, the glamour - This is undeniably the most vivid city of Southern France. There are millions of ways to entertain yourself. Shopping, clubbing, most importantly swimming and just chilling all day long at Bâoli beach - It's paradise on earth! What surprised me most was this feeling of home. I could totally see myself moving to Cannes. When you drink coffee at the Carlton Cafe, overlooking the sea, feeling the breeze, surrounded by billionaires and Arabian princesses and princes you're just like: LIFE IS GOOD! ;) I am so thankful. What is your ultimate Cannes hotspot? Let me know! One thing is for sure, I'll be back! Promis... ;)
Have a beautiful day!
