MARC JACOBS DAISY DREAM TAG

Ladies & Gentlemen may I introduce Marc Jacobs' new fragrance Daisy Dream. The slightly sweet, floral elegant scent is one of the ultimate must-haves for every perfume lover. To me it's a perfect daytime fragrance. Daisy Dream reminds me of glamorous soirees in the Hamptons and hip lunch parties in NYC. The bottle is so exquisite and beautiful! I can totally picture Jay Gatsby handing this fragrance over to his beloved woman. The gold embellishment and 20s inspired shape create a very unique and timeless look. A Marc Jacobs fragrance like Daisy Dream, belongs in every make up bag. ;) Let's dream a little dream and get inspired by the magical smell of the jasmine.

What are you currently daydreaming about?
Well I guess in summer everyone daydreams about one single thing: Sea! I can't wait to go on vacation. It's been such an intense month full of exams and work... guys I really need some weeks of. So basically I spend the day envisioning my upcoming holiday trip with my family and friends... My daydream is amazing! My summer? Hopefully perfect, fun and unforgettable! ;)

What three items live in your dream wardrobe?
Nr. 1: A Chanel Haute Couture piece: I remember watching a documentary on Karl's work at the Chanel atelier in Paris. The making of an Haute Couture dress is literally more complicated than depicting a Dali. This is definitely something to dream about!
Nr. 2: A Dolce & Gabbana (probably Alta Moda) wedding dress. I dream about a breathtaking gown... looking like a Sicilian flower... Stunning, glamorous and sexy - That's how my wedding dress will be. I know exactly what I'm looking for and only Stefano and Domenico can make it happen.

Nr. 3: A limited Chanel bag from one of the metropolis collections (like Chanel Dallas, Chanel Édimbourg etc). Those are probably my all time favourite Chanel shows. The influence of an epic city makes those bags even more sensational.

Who is your dream celeb lookalike?
Oh... That's a tough one. Our world is full of inspiring gorgeous women, but I never really saw myself aspiring to somebody else. I guess it's never wrong to look up to someone whose a little bit more skilled when it comes to bringing out the best in oneself. I admire Monica Bellucci for the perfection of her looks and the beauty of her nature. I think that Brigitte Bardot is one of the most beautiful women ever born. The list is endless. Girls, I guess we are all pretty awesome! ;)

In your eyes, who is currently 'living the dream'?
Regarding the recent events: Everyone with a happy and healthy family, a beautiful protected home and more or less carefree everyday life is living 'the dream'. I'm a 20 year old girl, living in one of the most beautiful cities of the world. I do what I love, I study what I'm most interested in... Maybe I'm living the dream... Maybe you are too ;)

Talking celebs:
Every successful musician, designer, artist, sports star and actor is living the dream. Being admired and loved for your talent and work is incredible, right? OBVIOUSLY THE GERMAN NATIONAL LEAGUE!!! WE ARE WELTMEISTER - THE DREAM! ;)
Actually the first person I thought about is Kim Kardashian. I mean let's be honest, she has a great family, she is insanely successful (the Kim K phone app is already worth 200 million dollars!?!@#), she hangs out with Riccardo Tisci and Azzedine Alaïa, she was on the cover of Vogue, she has some sick cars and some dope jewels, her husband is (maybe a little cray but still) one of the most talented artists of our time and most importantly her little daughter Nori is a dream come true.

What do you dream of more, love or money?
LOVE! Hands down! Love is the answer to all problems and issues, it's the most important value in the world. Love makes you grow as a human being. Being able to love truly and unconditionally is the greatest blessing.
Money means freedom. We're living in a world where money can literally move mountains. But even though Rihanna taught us that 'money makes the world go round', it's still  the love that fills it with sunshine. Protect your heart and consciousness more than your wallet! ;)

Your dream holiday escape?
One of my favourite bloggers Scott Schuman (The Sartorialist) inspired me to dream about a tour around Italy. Visiting old chic cafes in Rome, enjoying Verdi and Donizetti at opera Teatro San Carlo in Naples, swimming in the sea in a striped bikini, enjoying the cuisine and beauty - BELLA ITALIA! I'd love to wake up one day in a world without war. That is the ultimate dream.
And for myself? Ladies, here's the lesson: Keep some personal dreams to yourself... Just make your wish. ;)

SUMMER OBSESSION: POMPON

First of all: WE ARE WORLD CHAMPIONS!!! GERMANY WON THE 2014 FIFA WORLD CUP!! An epic game, I'm so happy and proud of our team! Jogis Jungs made it and the whole world was watching. Did you guys enjoyed the spectacular finale? It was the most nerve wracking game of the tournament. I would like to thank Brazil for hosting this amazing event and Argentina for playing great soccer throughout the season. (It's hard to be a fan of the German National League when you have a major crush on Lionel Messi. ;) ) Today is the day of national happiness and this kind of moment deserves a special fashion tribute. My German pompon headband is this week's ultimate party accessory.

What do you associate with pompons? Folklore, cheerleading or maybe your childhood? All associations are pretty positive, right? It's such a beautiful tool that has beautified gowns and accessories for centuries now. It's part of many folkloric costumes and it's one of the most recognizable trends of the last couple of years. We saw Azzedine Alaia and Christian Louboutin using them in order to embellish their heels and Caroline Issa's pointed it-pumps for L.K. Bennett were one of the year's biggest fashion highlights. Pompons make me fantasize about Barcelona and Ibiza... A little white dress, tanned skin, Issa heels and an Adrien Brody look-alike... ;) Is this the perfect summer or what? ;)

Actually I think that a pompon piece is a timeless must have and it belongs in every fashionista's closet. The essence of boho chic and glamour is completed with a statement jacket by Bless The Mess. I'm obsessed with their line and Instagram account (@blessthemessofficial). One of my all time favourite bloggers Elisabeth Mass (miss-mass.blogs.elle.es/), is known for her positivity, beauty and flawless sense of style. I love her snaps and I always obsessed over the folkloric and unique pieces featured in her outfits. Guys, I'm officially hooked and Bless The Mess is leading my wishlist. How do you guys like the pieces? AMO! ;)

My favourite Italian duo (besides Adriano and Ornella) is obviously Dolce and Gabbana. One day I will design fairy tale books for my children featuring those dreamy Alta Moda gowns. Their latest Capri show took my breath away, bow down! And they featured pompons on their bags and clothes! This is the embodiment of perfection. Stefano and Domenico, your creations enlighten the world! See it for yourself and dream a little dream... ;)

PARIS COUTURE FASHION WEEK 2014

It's the fashion week of all fashion weeks - Paris Fashion Week! The most epic city in the world is hosting the most sensational shows of the season. Karl Lagerfeld, Raf Simons and many more present their latest Haute Couture creations and invite their favourite celebrities, editors and buyers to watch, photograph and obviously order. It's such an incredible week! This is your exclusive chance to meet Anna Dello Russo at Place Vendôme or spot Olivia Palermo at L'Avenue. I remember reading posts by bloggers who bumped into Kanye West buying ice cream. Hands down, it's truly possible to meet a genius doing random stuff in this city. The capital is obviously gigantic, but when it comes to 'the scene' Paris becomes a village. There is only small number of hotels, restaurants and night clubs where the cool kids hang. Compared to Paris we are all so little. ;)

Ok, back to PFW: Magnifique! Dior was absolutely stunning. The show was so unique and delicate, I'm starting to love Raf for Dior more and more! ;)

What about 'the clique'? You know Carine, Anna, the other Anna, Elena, Mira, Christine and all the other girls with flawless style and elite status. My Nr. 1 for PFW F/W 2014/15 is (again) the gorgeous Miroslava Duma: A lovely sophisticated woman, irreplaceable fashionista and beautiful mother. Her style is so perfect, it's unbelievable! I've never seen her wearing a '9 out of 10' outfit. She's brilliant, a real fashion queen. Mira, thank you for all the inspiring looks, everyone can learn from you!

Also I have to mention the royal legitimation of the Kardashian clan. Kim and Kendall looked super hot in BALMAIN and Olivier Rousteing is officially the coolest designer in town. Dancing the night away with Olivier? Sounds amazing! ;)

Who was your fav' PFW guest? I loved to see Nina Dobrev visiting all the 'big' shows, she's getting in the game. Girls, let us enjoy this wonderful time of the year and let us get inspired by all the beautiful clothes! ;)

PARIS AND L'AMOUR

It's been such an incredible weekend! Guys we finally reunited... Paris and moi. ;) I'm so in love with this city. Even though it was my seventh stay I felt like I entered a whole new world for the first time. Every corner is filled with so much history. There is still so much to discover, every detail is significant. Just think about it, Coco Chanel used to walk down Rue Cambon, while F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald strolled through the Jardin des Tuileries (I just can't stop imagining a 'Midnight in Paris'-like scenario). It is the most epic place in the world! Paris 2014 was an unforgettable adventure. I took so many pictures of the breathtaking Parisian street life and I'm very happy to share them with you guys. Honestly the weather was... well it was very british - It was raining non stop. But hey, we are in Paris! So who cares? ;) The French capital is magical. It's the only place in the world where rain is romantic and dark clouds are mysteriously alluring. Paris is definitely my muse and eternal source of inspiration. While we were chilling at my beloved Café Pouchkine after an exhausting shopping day at the Galeries Lafayette, I developed the wish to stay in Paris for a while. Maybe one day this vision will come true... Paris, I love you!
