FIFA WORLD CUP - LIFESTYLE GUIDE

TOOOOOR! It's time for the FIFA World Cup 2014! Well, let me be honest, I'm not exactly a 'pro' when it comes to soccer but I genuinely enjoy it! I love how people get excited about it and the collective enthusiasm during a game always fascinated me. I remember the World Cup 2006 in Germany, it was literally a Sommermärchen (=summer's tale). I got so obsessed with soccer and I still have all the FIFA-themed books and albums I used to collect. How are you guys celebrating the World Cup, who are you cheering for? I'm obviously supporting the German national team as Munich is my beloved hometown. The game against Portugal was an epic start! So let us enjoy a magical summer full of love and friendship! ;) Here's how you can easily become a FIFA it-girl in a minute (PART 1):
1. Show Love with Style
I love these funky clips for my glasses and headphones. They are available at pretty much every big department store. This is how I pay tribute to Germany at public viewing parties. It's all about the little details. Also I love to style an outfit featuring the national colours of my favourite teams. It's very easy to do that in a stylish and chic way. German girls can rock a little black dress with gold jewellery and red lipstick. Go for blue jeans, a white shirt and red gloss if you want to support France etc., you guys get the idea. I'm sure your man will love it too. ;)
2. Beau it up!
What is the linking element between women and soccer? Correct, the hotties! Iker Casillas, Cristiano Ronaldo (can't deny he's hot #sorrynotsorry), Mario Gomez, Steven Gerrard, Isco Alarcon, Sergio Ramos, Ben Foster, Raúl Meireles, Javi Martínez... Ladies, it's time to tune in! My girls and I talked about a very special French Beau today... it's the one and only Olivier Giroud! From this day on, a '10 out of 10' will be called an Olivier, this guy is perfection. Everything is flawless, those eyes, his body... When does France play again? ;)
3. Party Worldwide
Go to fancy public viewings (Munich Tip: Heart THE ♡ ARENA), summer night barbecues or host a cocktail party with some friends. All you need is a big screen and your clique, a little FIFA bash is always a good idea. ;)
I wish you guys a great weekend & stay tuned for PART 2! ;)
Who's watching the games tomorrow?

SUMMER.LOVE.PLANS.

Welcome to another wonderful summer week! I hope you guys started your day right and enjoyed the sunshine. It's fascinating how a little bit of heat and sun can turn things around. Summer makes us feel hot, energetic and happy. Everything is shining, life is better in summer! ;) What are your plans for the season? Partying, travelling and watching Keeping up with the Kardashians during breakfast? No I'm not talking about myself... 'cause I already did that last summer. ;) It's officially time for new experiences: New places, new plans, new Paris? No, Paris is irreplaceable! ;) I'm pretty sure that the creators of Gossip Girl were inspired by my love for Paris, when they decided to send Blair and Serena to the French capital for Boys and Boulangeries. ;) Get ready for an incredible summer, it's all on you. You want it? You'll get it! ;) Check out some summer sounds from the Made in Chelsea soundtrack. Gotta love their music team! #British4life))

SCENT OF CINEMATOGRAPHY

Welcome to #MondayMemories! Did you guys enjoyed the weekend? Last night I watched The Devil Wears Prada - Hands down, one of the most enjoyable fashion movies of all time. It got me thinking about acting and clothing and about how those industries constantly collide. Fashion is essential for an epic movie. When we think about Pretty Woman, we instantly remember Vivian's red Opera gown. And when we think about Julia Roberts we envision her Valentino from the Academy Awards 2001 (There's even a Wikipedia article dedicated to this dress). Fashion and Cinematography are like Carrie & Big. ;) Can you imagine a marketing concept of Dior or Prada without a celebrated actor? No way! Think about the perfume commercials. Some of them are more iconic than any Oscar awarded movies. Those people embody beauty, success and a unique fabulous lifestyle. Partying in Paris with a handsome man at Le Baron wearing Chanel Coco Noir... this is the feeling. ;) What is your favourite perfume commercial? Here is my Top 3 - 'Scent of an Actor'. ;)
Nr. 3: Keira Knightley for Chanel Coco Mademoiselle
The city, the music, the story... this is amour parisienne at its finest!
Nr. 2: Nicole Kidman for Chanel No. 5
The setting is inspired by Nicole's epic role in Moulin Rouge. I love this woman, she is flawless. This is Oscar worthy advertising! Seriously, I would totally go and see this in a movie theatre on the big screen. Chanel knows exactly how to make a fashionista melt away. ;) So incredibly beautiful, Baz Luhrmann is a genius!
Nr. 1: Vincent Cassel for YSL La Nuit de L'Homme
Did I ever mention my love for Vincent Cassel? I know, I probably did... like a billion times. But this man deserves a country named after him! How can a guy be so hot and so talented at the same time? C'est tout simplement impossible! ;) In this commercial Vincent plays... himself: The most seductive man in the world. He makes the heart of beautiful models like Eniko Mihalik beat double time. Girls, what about your hearts? Can you feel the beat? ;) Cassel is perfect...
Have a great week guys! ;)

SUMMER IN STYLE: BONOBOS

A party in the Hamptons, an outdoor country wedding, a summery restaurant opening, French Riviera clubbing or dinner in a hip restaurant in SoHo ... there are countless occasions that require casual yet stylish outfits. For us girls it's very easy to look chic in the summer: A silk dress, beautiful heels and we're good to go. ;) But what about our boys? Where are they supposed to shop for cool suits and chinos? It's interesting how pants are the Nr. 1 staple piece in a man's wardrobe, yet it seems so difficult to find a company which emphasizes quality and a better-fitting product. Dear gentlemen, you definitely deserve some one-on-one attention when it comes to building your wardrobe. I love the concept of the brand Bonobos. Their idea connects styling with excellent client service. Bonobos offers Guideshops all around the United States where you can schedule an appointment in order to receive great consulting and a very enjoyable shopping experience.
The Garment Dyed Chinos are a key-piece of Bonobos casual spring/ summer collection. You can choose from various colours and different fits depending on your personal preference. The broken-in feel creates a lot comfort, they are highly versatile and very stylish. My personal favourite is the slim-straight fit. You can wear them with a shirt or a casual tee, with brogues or sneakers, you can style them great for both daytime and nighttime. They are the ultimate summer staple piece! ;)

Another favourite: Bonobos Summer Chino
Bonobos chinos cover a huge variety of events from a laid-back terrace barbecue with friends to a fun rooftop party with colleagues. Costumers outside of the US and Australia are free to shop online via Nordstorm. Check out Bonobos' flawless quality and get to know the amazing concept.
So guys, make sure you write down the addresses and integrate Bonobos in your next US stay. I'm so happy that we finally welcome the summer! ;) It's time for some wardrobe changes and now you guys know where to shop for great summer chinos. ;)

Have a great weekend!
