In every woman's closet there is a certain hierarchy. There are things we use day by day, things we neglect and things we are incredibly proud of. Those exquisite pieces are reigning in the wardrobe: They always get the best place, the best care and they to come with us to the most special occasions. Do you guys remember how Carrie Bradshaw knew every single dress in her designer paradise closet as good as she knew Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda? She could tell you exactly when she brought and where she stunned wearing it. So let's play a little game called "Most treasured pieces in my closet". ;)
Round One:
My fashion expert mom always used to take me with her, when she went out with her fabulous gorgeous friends. I can't tell you how much I loved that (well I obviously still do).))) They taught me fashion and style, and they are all amazingly different. One of her close friends is a fashionista living in the United States. Her clothes are so incredibly chic and tasteful and she truly values the great couture designers. I remember exactly that evening when she gave me this breathtaking iconic gift! A Christian Dior Boutique (Couture Selection) shirt, designed by the Napoleon of Haute Couture John Galliano. It is so fancy and sophisticated... It's ART!
My Dear, I want you to know that every gift of yours is treasured by me like gold! THANK YOU :*
This shirt is a killer, I will adore it, I will wear it and I will take it with me all around the world. I love it. The runway look is so John: Wild, Young, Revolutionary. (I want Galliano back @ Dior... with Raf Simons there is too less going on for my taste lol) I'm so grateful and proud to own this piece, designed by a couture genius for of the greatest French fashion Maisons ever.
Girls, those pieces are forever, just like diamonds. And it's always a wonderful thing to get a gift like that but they are also worth to be invested in! ;) I'm currently saving up for something gorgeous myself... it will be worth it.)))
Next time: My Alexander McQueen evening dress.
Hope you guys enjoyed it, have a beautiful weekend and tmr... TGIF ;)
xx
